If you want variety, character and a prime riverside address, Elvet Residences has all three. It’s Cabana’s largest site, with four distinct blocks spread along Old Elvet, one of Durham’s oldest and most handsome streets, and no two of them are quite the same.
At its heart is a landmark building on Old Elvet and the most traditional address in the portfolio. Inside, apartments of different sizes sit alongside self-contained studios, so you can live in a big group, a small one or entirely on your own. Just around the corner, Old Elvet Suites, Bow Banks and Kingsgate are three smaller blocks, mostly ensuites. They opened in 2021, so they’re modern builds on a street steeped in Durham history: new rooms in an old setting, a short walk from both the university and the city centre.
